Is this a subscription?
No. You pay once. The license is valid for v1.x forever — meaning every update we ship in the v1 series. When v2 ships with new feature layers, a discounted upgrade is offered to v1 holders.
What happens if I don't buy a license?
The app stays fully usable for personal practice and casual student exchange — up to 3 imported sessions saved at a time. The demo session is always available so you can see what teacher mode feels like.
How does the 30-day money-back work?
Email hi@outerpractice.app within 30 days of purchase. We refund without a questionnaire. The license deactivates by you removing it from the app, or simply by not using it — there is no server-side enforcement.
Can I transfer my license to another device?
Yes. The license is a string stored in your browser's localStorage. Copy it, paste it into the other browser's activation field, and you're in. Two devices simultaneously is technically possible but discouraged.
Does the price include VAT?
Yes. Our payment provider handles VAT for your country automatically at checkout. The €149 you see is what you pay.
What about Studio pricing?
Studio licensing is a conversation, not a price list. For drum schools, conservatories, or any organization with 5+ teachers, email Stefan with a rough headcount and timeline. We will suggest something fair.
I'm in Stefan's first cohort. Do I pay?
If Stefan personally invited you to the pilot before public launch, you have a comp license — check your email. No payment needed.
